Fascinating to watch, but difficult at the same time when seeing these chaps working in medieval conditions, especially the ones doing the grinding and polishing. You can just see a drop in life expectancy and/or poor health due to years of unprotected exposure. Just look at the colour of the faces of the ones doing the polishing!

The work is amazing and I hope it will get standardized soon. The salaries and benefits should also be improved. Also the workplace safety conditions should be improved. Remember that India has not ratified international labour Organisation standards. For the record, Pressure cookers are considered dangerous items and are not appreciated in developed countries. Also there are studies about the material in which we cook.
