Today I'm taking you through the steps on how to make a quilted angel Christmas ornament. We are doing her in two different versions today....a finished edge and a raw edge.

Thank you so much for your awesome feedback Evelyn!! A lot of creatives just need the idea to get started, and they don't necessarily need a pattern to go by right? :) And then a lot of us want to just get started right away and don't want to figure out the logistics of the whole project, and that's where having the pattern comes in handy!!

Felt for the head makes sense too if anyone struggles with sewing such a small piece. Also, I like the position of the head on the fully sewn one, it's up higher so the wings are in the correct place (to me). These are cute.

I love the angels! This will make a great stocking stuffer...or better yet, I try to sew or craft a ornament each year, hang them on a small bare tree for everyone to select one. Thank you very much. ❤️😇🎄

When I make dolls or anything with rounded edges I increase the number of stitches. It makes for a perfect rounded edges.

I think these would make great memory angels if you made them with clothing from someone who passed away. You could embroider their name on it too.

Love them. They are so cute. I wish I could work pinking shears in my budget. Lord, you need to take out a small loan for them. lol I tried some cheap ones and they won't cut layers. I think they are for crafts that use paper. Thanks for posting. I need to get busy and make some of these.

I think you could just clip around the edge and fray it. No pinking shears!

@@dorenenagy564 If you're going to use pinking shears a lot you should invest in a good pair. LIke Lisa, I have a pair of Fiskars that I've had for years from when I made clothes. I haven't used them in years but seeing the prices now I'll hang on to them.

I think it depends on the market in which you are trying to sell to :) If selling online...browse the Etsy listings for quilted angel ornaments.......you can get a good average price idea that way

Hi Mary! If I need a glue that is permanent, then I love Fabri-Tac glue......if I want it to wash out of my project then I use Elmer's School Glue, or Glueall.....or just a regular Elmer's glue stick :)

I used a rotary cutter and straight edge ruler, it helps a LOT :)
