Hi Pat, thank you so much for this tutorial. I absolutely love these bags. They are just what I need. I’m in the process of moving and have had my sewing, embroidery, and serger machines in storage for 2 1/2 yrs. I’m dying to get back to sewing and to learn how to use my other 2 machines. ❤️ 😍 Sadly out of the bag I want for me. No problem! Got a kit to make for my sister. Fabric side will be Tula doggie bottom 2/3 and coordinating fabric top 1/3. Fabulous idea, thank you❤

I wanted your tula pink w purple handles. I ended up getting the other crocodile vinyl sample u made. I thought pink/blush. It's actually same lavender from your Tula bag. I'll add my Tula to each and have 2 bags❤🎉

Great bag! Was wondering if you could top stitch the vinyl on the bottom? Would it be too bulky to sew?

Hi Judy, what do you mean by top stitch the bottom? Do you mean to hold the bottom seam down? That might be a little tricky, but everything is worth a try at least once.

Did I miss what needle is being used? Is there another video showing how to close the bottom of the vinyl bag?

Hi, you can use a vinyl or jeans/denim needle for the bags that involve vinyl. You don't have to close the bottom of the vinyl bag if your top is sewn using the raw edge technique Pat discussed in the video. If you decide to have a finished top edge for your bag, you just have to hand sew or whip stitch the bottom of the side you left an opening in. I hope this helps!
