So, you can just cut 9 yards of ribbon in each color as 1 piece instead of 9 pieces. I had already cut them like that before I started filming! But it would all still be sewn the same. 😂

So adorable 🥰 I need to get back into making them. A magnet on the ruler part on sewing machine helps keep stuff straight. I got one that’s made for the sewing machine

This looks really great! It looks like the pieces of tulle are not actually sewn together on the sides where the colors connect; they just overlap when you attach the ribbon . Right? Does that cause a problem when child wears it? I’m going to make this for my 12m old granddaughter. I think it’s ok for small sizes but wonder if anyone has had issues with child’s foot getting caught in opening in the bigger sizes. Please correct me if I am doing this wrong. I may have missed a step. Thank you so much! I’m just learning to sew.

How do you know how long to make a tutu. My grand baby wears a 4 T. If I measure her should it go mid way between her knee and hip?
