this looks lovely! i’m making it right now, but i’m struggling to turn it. i’m not really sure what i’m supposed to do, may you explain more in depth what i’m supposed to do at the “turning” part?

Hi, Caramel! I made an improved and a more detailed tutorial of this ribbon flower here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rtKkoc2r1by3iIE.html You get to turn the ribbon when you have secured the base with your fingers before you let the needle pass completely through the folds. So one hand holds the base and the other hand turns the needle. I hope that helps. :)

Try using an organza ribbon. It's so much easier to work with. I struggled with the satin ribbon in my tutorial.

@@jewelboxballerina yes, much easier. I also suggest using the smallest needle possible. It is also a bit frustrating threading the needle with the ribbon. If it is hard to pull through, I suggest pushing the needle back out just a tiny bit and twisting it the opposite direction about 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
