Might also want to add a little block hanging off the front to hold it against the front of a table. so that it doesn't move around.

A nice addition to this would be some kind of guard around the blade. Maybe something cut from a piece of pvc pipe or a piece of sheet metal bent to the correct shape. Nice video tho 👍

Nice build, but there is one REALLY DANGEROUS failure: The spinning direction of the blade is the same direction the nut is turned to tighten the blade. If you look at a professional saw you will notice that the direction the nut has to be turned to tighten the blade is always the OPPOSITE direction the blade turns in. In your construction the nut and the blade turn in the same direction, so eventually the nut will come loose and the blade can fly off the arbor. I highly recommend to fix that or at least to put a strong and stable blade guard on your construction and check the nut before every single use of your machine.

Şahin DAĞLI By reversing the direction of the motor you prevent the nut from getting loose, but you create two new problems: 1. The blade will cut very poorly when running backwards. (There is an arrow on most blades showing the direction it has to spin.) 2. You can turn the blade to prevent problem nr. 1, but in this case the spinning force of the blade will push the piece the user wants to cut to where the user stands, not away from the user. So if you don't be very careful, the piece of wood or whatever you cut ends up sticking in your face or your body.

If it's a 775 they usually pull 10amps free spinning a 4in blade and 20-25amps under full load

For anyone have the arbor disc pad smaller than disc the arbor is 16mm and the disc is 20mm or 22mm make sure you put washer between the arbor and the disc to fit perfectly the washer need to be (16mm 20mm) or (16mm 22mm)

Thank You so much for the tutorial. Your design is by far the simplest to make and its really practical. I have seen a few video teaching people how to do their DIY project but none of them give the description on those item they use. You are the only one that I have seen so far that give description on all the item that you use like what model motor, mandrel description etc. Make it so easy for me to look for this item. Thanks again.
