Thank you, Misti, Jenny, & MSQC. I enjoy every tutorial that y'all do for us. I always learn something - often times I learn a great deal. Thank you for this very clever, attractive, & relatively simple project. And thank you, June Taylor! I love that you offer these projects! Unfortunately we weren’t able to see the caddy. Maybe that’s a good thing! It could prove to be motivation to get going on this project as soon as my kit arrives so I can see the set completed & on my machine in my sewing room. Thank you again🤗🦩

Love the tutorial, but the last few that Misty has done have had barely enough sound volume to follow her! Please give us a little more. If it's too much we can always choose to lower it but we can't increase it beyond the max. I hate to miss anything - it's all so good!!

I liked the video, because I needed it. After buying this package, I modified it as it would have used a lot if pretty strips for nothing and time. At the very beginning of the video, you can see the caddy which I like after I made it. However, all the strips and design ends up on the underside of the caddy, never to be seen again. You turn up 6 inches of the striped designed for use as pockets but the rest is underneath. So I only put in 7 rows horizontal and the vertical stripes to match the length. I just used a solid for the upper part that goes under the machine (my personal preference) which is sewn above the striped pocket, 6 /7 inch section and a solid for the other side. I ended up modifying the sewing machine cover as well so I could continue using the strips from my precut package and didn't have to look for the wider sized pieces that make the design. My precut had some bright prints and the design pattern would have gotten lost anyway. I sewed the pattern using the horizontal cuts and all precuts for the vertical. I hope this helps someone. And thanks Misty for taking the confusion out of those side seams and cutting. I didn't like the written instructions at all and I've been sewing for over 50 years.

Thank you Misty! Just what I needed to motivate me to make this. Just wondering if you can edit this video at the very beginning , with the instructions to outline stitch the batting to the backing before starting for the next person who like me, just follows along with you and has everything stitched before you mentioned that part.

I’m in NSW, and have ordered twice through them recently. The shipping is not cheap, but the savings on fabrics compared to her basically evens it out if you buy enough. The orders both came very quickly in my opinion, I think I had them both in about ten days.

I love all the MSQC videos but often they say “as you can see. . .“ but I can’t see! For example, in this video I can’t see the grid lines that Misty refers to on the batting or the quilting on the blue backing. Is it just me (my devices, my eyes) or do others have the same problem?

@judypayne1906 2 жыл бұрын
Yes Linda I cannot see what she's talking about also. At least you are not alone. The lines are printed in a light blue (I've done another project from JT) and the camera does not pick them up. Hang in there!!

It's really bad I get up earlier than my husband. He'll see the charge on the card, but really, can he blame me? $9.99 for a cover and caddy! And I wisely used my quilters bucks, so it was only $5 for me. In fact, he's going to be impressed my frugality. I'll also be using all scraps, so no extra to buy. Right! He's going to thank me! Right Quilters?
