DIY Alex? It’s the cutest tshirt. Here’s my question… why didn’t you slice the off set and the printed vinyl?

I didn’t slice because HTV always shrinks a little when you press it. So there will be gaps that won’t fit quite right. So it’s best to layer if you can,

This is my first time watching any of your videos. This was very helpful. can you tell me how to determine what size the design will be for t shirts..is it still basically 10 wide 7 long? How do I find cool designs for t shirts? Thanks so much. Great clear explanations.

I usually use 10x10” for large size shirts, and scale it if the sizes are much bigger or smaller. There are lots of places to get design files (usually SVG file types) from Creative Fabrica, Design Bundles, Etsy, etc.

The white foam is just for shipping! The grey pad is all you have to use.

Do you need a special needle to cut T-shirts

Cricut machines can't cut t-shirts, but they can cut heat transfer vinyl that can be applied to a t-shirt. You just need the regular fine point blade to cut heat transfer vinyl.

I failed to weed the center of the heart before heat pressing. Is there a sure-fire way to remove that piece off the shirt?

Heat the back of the shirt with an iron and then try peeling it off with your weeding tool while it’s hot.
