Thanks so much!! It's got a little wobble to it, but nothing major. I may add some plywood backing to the lower quarter just to stabilize the whole thing!

Thanks so much... and yeah... I like the design... but I am working on an overhaul to it cause it's hard to move around with the single post, and the trash can does not have the best structural integrity!!

Hey Lou, Glad to see you putting out videos regularly. I really enjoy your vids, I build the same way, Indiana Jones style, luckily everything I do works out great, so far 😬. You need to look at a Kreg pocket hole jig kit, I make a lot of frames and boxes and it makes thinks super clean and strong. Keep up the vids, I’ll send pics of my shop progress soon

That’s awesome, I know it’s been a little while since we talked, my shop is coming along nicely, I insulted it, hung bead board on the walls, ran the electrical and have my saw and work bench installed, not even close to done yet but it’s getting there. Have you made any progress on your shop yet, I remember you had some plans to remove those cabinets and shelves and redo things?

Great video, Lou! And the cart looks like it's going to work out really well for you. I used some insulation tape (kind of has some foam with an adhesive backing) to get a snug fit with one of my shop vac hoses. Might work well for you too!)

Thanks so much Bruce, yeah it's been a great addition so far! The insulation tape is something I thought of, but for now the plumbing couplers and friction fit are doing a bang up job!

Why not just remount the shop vac a little higher on the post? Nicely done though. Great little shop project with lots of benefits.

Hey thanks so much... the mounting plate is designed to double as a place to wrap the hose but that means that there has to be a portion of the post sticking up in the back for the hose to be rested up against as if it was mounted on the wall!! I hope that made sense. You can see a good example of what I'm talking about at the marker 7:56

probably not... but the friction fit has been working for me so far and as it turns out, leaving it off makes it easier to empty the bin when I need to!!
