You have some mad knot tying skills! I hate knots for some reason. I bought one several years ago. Never liked it because it was difficult to change height so I finally made my own design which I am currently trying to be successful in selling. I even made a couple of videos on youtube. Today I tested one to see if it cuts melt and pour soap too. It worked great. My dislike for how they are all made makes me critical of soap cutters except for yours :) I like the fact that the spacers are easy to remove and replaced and I love the simple eye bolt, instead of a tuner, you use to tighten the wire. I think yours is simplicity at its finest and that is as it should be. It probably puts a smile on your face every time you use it. Great job!

I do enjoy using it, the eyebolt can be replaced with a guitar tuner for those who want to, the aim of my channel is to make soapmaking affordable to all, eyebolts are dirt cheap and work just as well. Great cutter! Simple - how I like it. I was able to make it with things I had lying around and only had to buy the bolt/wingnut. Cost me $3.

Hi, thanks for the video. What are your spacers made out of? And does the wire cut into the spacers?

Hi Mark. It is my pleasure. My spacers are cut from 3mm Supawood, but I Imagine that something like perspex would work just as well. Mine doesn't cut into the wood, when cutting your soap the force is also forward rather than downward that helps saving the spacers.
