I had a soft shell crab sandwich one and it was delicious..I've thought about it randomly since (been about 7-8 years). But after seeing you squish the crab..I felt queasy and had the biggest mental trip. I don't think I could ever eat it again lol

It's actually fine, the shell basically disintegrates when you fry it, and honestly, it gets even softer after you cook it, and it's delicious

You can eat soft shelled crabs after cooking and they taste amazing by the way. You can eat the gills and face if you want but no one wants to eat an animals face Bc that’s weird and gross. Faces also show death more which would not be comfortable to have animals dead eyes looking at you while you’re just bashing on it’s body. Also I recommend never eating the gills of any shell fish for fish in general Bc that’s where parasites like to live in fix. Parasites love chilling in the gills and stomach that’s why the stomach and dirty organs are removed along with the face and gills of shellfish and fish

If you get the chance you should always eat the liver of a fish and the heart and kidneys of a fish That is wear your will find the most complex nutrition compared to the entire fish or Animal. I promise clean organs are the most vitamin and nutrient dense part of every creature they may not taste good but your body and brain will be so grateful in the long run. Honestly you will feel so healthy as well if you eat these parts of every animal as long as they’ve been cleaned and cooked appropriately. Sometimes you can eat these organs raw which is every better for you as far as vitamins and minerals also micro nutrition. If you did Keto and ate pieces of heart kidney and liver at every meal you’d easily get abs and you’d feel like you have the body of a king in 3 months I promise bro

Same place they get hard shelled ones. Soft shelled crabs are crabs that just recently removed their shells. After a crab sheds its shell, it becomes a soft shelled crab.
