When using EDLC in an electronic circuit instead of a battery, the voltage changes greatly, so a circuit to keep the voltage constant is required.
A large current flows when charging the EDLC. The withstand voltage is low at around 2.5V. For these reasons, special measures are required to charge with an AC adapter.
The production of the overvoltage prevention circuit and overcurrent prevention circuit introduced in the video is not necessary if you have a constant voltage power supply that can shift to constant current operation. I also made a switching type constant current constant voltage power supply circuit, but the circuit is a bit complicated so I gave up on showing it in a video. The energy stored in a 120F EDLC is about one-tenth that of Daiso or Seria's AAA nickel metal hydride, which is not a lot, but if you charge it with this circuit for about 10 minutes before use, it can run for about 2 hours. The cause was that when a 120F capacitor was charged to 2.4V and left unattended, the voltage dropped to 1.8V after 2 hours. 基礎的なところからカバーされていていいですね。過電圧防止回路はコンパレータのIC(かオペアンプ)の方が簡単にできそうですが、だめなんでしょうか? 2石の電流制限回路は電圧降下(ロス)が少なくていいですよね。私は自転車の電球用の発電機で LEDライトを点灯するときに使っています。最新のMOSFETなら VGSOFFが小さくて使えるかもしれませんが、検討していません。

ご指摘の通りコンパレーターの方が簡単だったと思います。当初、基準電圧ICやオペアンプをつかって正確な値で制限することを考えていましたが、ディスクリート部品で格好良くできないかなと思い、この方式にしました。もっとスマートにできると思っていたのですが、結局ICを使った方がスマートだったと思います。
