Just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to create 25 leis for my son's graduation. It kept me busy when I was bored creatively during the pandemic. I have enough leis for my son's friends and teachers. Mahalo for sharing. Wish I could send you photos of all the leis I have made with your tutorials.

This is wonderful. I typically make (fresh) ti leaf lei and flower lei. It’s tricky getting ti leaves aside of when I can grow them here in CT (summer time) but for the amount of lei I like to make, ti leaf is a challenge to get. This is a wonderful version as I’m slowly learning ribbon lei too. Thank you.

Thank you for watching. I always think that the real ti leaf is always better. Same here in California is not easy to find. Even sometimes it's hard to find a matching green color of the ribbon. But we can just do our best, right? And at the end, our thought and blessing for the one who receive the lei is the best gift. I hope you enjoy the video. Love from me.

Thank you so much for taking time to make these videos. This video brought good memories back for me. I remember when I made my friends real ti-leaf leis and the easy two ribbon leis for our high school graduation. =) I've always wanted to make the ribbon leis again but couldn't remember how. Hello, first I bought at www.etsy.com/listing/234041259/10-yards-316-inch-5mm-ombre-ribbon?ga_search_query=green%2Bombre&ref=shop_items_search_8&crt=1 But now I bought at Uimauamau.com, search 'ribbon', then 'weavon', then 3/16 ombre green. It's a little bit pricey here, with shipping fee, but they have pretty ribbons and good quality. Or check my description on each video. I sell some the kit DIY ribbons for the lei, and everything is included. It is on Etsy.com under 'momslittlethings' also. A little bit empty now, since graduation season, but I'll refill soon. Will I be able to used 1" ribbon instead of 7/8" ribbon?

Yes, you can use 1" ribbon. It will be beautiful because it's thicker, like original ti leaf.

I have 2 rolls of ribbon each measuring 21 ft. Do I have enough to make a lei ?

Yes, that's more than enough. We need only about 25 feet to make this lei. Maybe you can make 2 leis, but with shorter leaves; 7.5" instead of 9". Thank you so much. Let me know if you have other question ok. Mahalo 🌸🌼
