Yes they are very smart. There are actually a lot of nice things you can do with exports. From the documentation: docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/scripting/gdscript/gdscript_exports.html

Can I recommend that for the next tutorial you teach us how to create time-sensitive signals? I mean both of the kind "send a signal every time in-game 15 minutes pass" and "send a signal when the in-game time reaches 6 PM"?
