When I saw this $1.97 placemat at the store, I knew I can turn it into something really nice because of the unique and beautiful design. These 2pcs of placemats which are made of 100% cotton, are meant to be a new TOTE BAG. I added canvas cloth for handles and bottom panel. I really love the outcome of this 30th project. Very simple and quick DIY. I will make some more.😊

Nice tote bag. Where did you get that cute little label you sewed onto the centre front near the bottom of the bag? It makes the tote look bought instead of handmade.

Question Did they have matching curtains by chance Want to make shower curtain and the colors of green in print is perfect if so where did you buy them 😊

Hi Pamela! I bought them from Big Lots. I didn’t see any matching curtain there. If there are I would love to have them too. I fell in love with the pattern especially the color.
