I will take you step by step in the making of a tote from a grain bag/ feed bag. They are super heavy duty, water resistance, strong and super cute. A great way to repurpose another item on the homestead.

Thank you! It is a great way to use up old grain bags and make a little cash to help pay for the grain that comes in those bags! :-)

Thank you. I have seen people used duck tape vs sewing but I am not sure how well that would hold up.

Yeah I love her! I will never go back to a "modern" sewing machine. She's a Singer 15-90. Her stand is from a Singer 115 (I have that head tucked away as well). So technically I have two of them. :-)

any sewing thread will work just make sure you use a stronger gauge needle, I have busted a few of the lighter fabric needles when I forgot to change it out
