Besides you being adorable, this idea design caught my attention. I wanted to do the same thing and even add a hinge to the bracket so the tv can "stored" , but no matter. The idea of hanging it directly from the ceiling also gives you more options to where you can place the TV.

I can’t figure out how it tilts??? I get The angle iron and the bracket and the four screws that fit into the back of the TV but what makes it tilt?

OMG, I should probably take this video down. I had NO idea what I was doing "amateur" making videos. This was literally one of my first DIY videos I ever made on YT lol. I didn't realize this was still up so Thank You for that. Okay so there is embarrassingly three versions of this. Watch this one & since you've already watched this version just skip to somewhere around the 8 minute mark & you'll see. I apologies, I know I left out a lot of details in this one.

"Make sure it's metal, not aluminum or something because it will not hold..." 🤦🏼♀️ I assume you are referring to steel as "metal", however aluminum is absolutely a metal as well. Aluminum (depending on the alloy) can be very strong. Generally speaking steel is /stronger/, but a very strong TV mount could absolutely be made of aluminum. Honestly I would prefer 6061 aluminum due to the fact that it's 1/3 of the weight of steel, yet still plenty strong.
