I wish I saw your video before. I hired a web designer to do my website and I looked at the page source and found out it was wordpress. I wasn't happy since the website just had the basics: home, service, about, faq, contact and not what I expected. I gave him a reference website that I wanted it to look similar to but it doesn't even look like half of that. He hasn't posted my website yet since I keep asking him to do more. In addition, my business name is really generic so when I search for it, my google my business listing never shows up unless I put the city name! I already paid him half so I'll have to go through with it but I wonder if it's possible to stop that website and make my own and use the domain already used (one he made) for the newer website (I make).

I know I'm a little bit late but I have a question. how do you set up so when you sell things but you are selling other companies products how do you send the list of things they need to sell as well as an address so they know where to ship to and who to ship and what they are shipping . is there like away where we can set up an automatic emailing system to send them a list of things that they need so they can prepare for the shipment. a response will be nice kind regards Adam

Then I created a new page however I'm not getting to change its layout using Elementor neither open it with the WP Customize editor. Am I missing something or doing anything wrong? HI, I Bought a domain on a different website and went to wordpress. This is were the video became totally irrelevant as wordpress is asking me to transfer or map the domain, i have no idea what is that. Once i pressed map they are asking me subscribe to a monthly plan.

Great videos thanks. However I am having one small issue with editing the About section. I can change the background but am unable to edit the content. I don't get the pencil symbol edit button on the section itself. I do get the edit button in the sidebar but without the pencil symbol, and it doesn't work either. It is only that section I have a problem with. Is anyone able to shed some light on what is happening there?

Even after clicking on Customize button, I get the same "boring'" page. it doesn't display the preset template.. I already installed Orbit fox before starting. Great video. Your explanations are very easy to follow! I had an issue with the "About" page though. It won't let me edit the text. After googling this, It appears that the "Edit" button (in About frontpage section) is not configured to open the correct editor. It may had been a plugin conflict. So, I disabled all plugins and enabled them one by one. I still have the same issue. At this point, I think I'm just going pick a different theme, unless you can quickly point me to a fix. Thanks.

I loved watching your video "How to Make A Website from Scratch Step by Step" and was able to create my website (finally) using Hestia theme. However, I thought you'd be able to help me resolve a couple of issues I'm having with the clickable button in the Big Title Section. I want to link it to my Contact page (instead of linking it to the App Store). Lastly, the plug in I was asked to use for the Contact page is WP Form Lite instead of the Pirate form. When I go to my Primary Menu and click "Contact", it does not jump to the Contact page. Can you also show me how to change the font size in the Contact content? Appreciate your help on my issues. Hi Dale, me on this side of the Pond, I've been trying to build a website using this, 2018, video, some pages are out of date, but fundamentally, I've not been able to find a save button, went through about 3 hrs of building yesterday and returned to it today and I've lost the lot, you advise on using this set of web companies, because they have good customer services, but hey I can't even find any where I can contact, as the web page showed a message 'return to autosaved work' but it didn't return. wonder if you can advise

When I customize hestia I see the changes I made but when I am not editing it shows the pink background like I haven't done anything... I'd love help with this too!
