You inspired some ideas to fill in the deficiencies in design. A) Working doors both at the back and at the front. B) A better wheels system with ball bearings and everything mounted on a chassis C) Batteries and a small electric motor connected to the front axle, preferably under the hood and with the axles under the floor and out of sight. D) Trimming the ends of the sticks and adding paint for a more polished design. E) Actual seats complete with driver passenger and steering wheel

I love the design! A cool feature would be functional doors, and the wheels should be moved a bit more towards the center of the van, and could have their own wheel wells!

Hi! I was wondering if you sort of doubled up on the popsicle sticks if you could even sand them down a bit to get some curved shapes, or would you not recommend it as it is a bit flimsy

That was nice! Hmm you could even hot glue some LED lights on it and tuck a small watch size battery inside with a switch. I might have to make this one with my grandson this weekend... going to the dollar tree store shortly, i'll grab the popsicle sticks there, and I might as well grab a couple cars/trucks so I can steal the wheels from them lol. Look at you Dave, got me feeling like a kid! :)

Nice crafting to do with somewhat older kids (as soon as they understand that hot glue is HOT) Thanks for sharing. I have two small bags (per 100 pcs) with popsicle sticks and many ideas what to do with them. I need to buy a better (and smaller) hot glue gun because my old one is not so reliable anymore when pushing through the glue stick.
