Impossible on java edition becausr in java pistons arent recognized as redstone components so you need repeaters

I never really thought of that what you could try is, connect some repeaters to a button and put the tick speed as slow as possible with a button to open from the outside only thing is it won't stay open for long

Sorry about that but depending on what the house is built like will determine if you need it or not, for example if you want the lever farther back then chances are you might need a repeater against the block with the Redstone torch
