Loved this! I did just fuse the interfacing on a large piece of fabric and then cut into strips.

I love this basket, and can't wait to make one, and the strawberries to go in it...but am I incorrect that you're not supposed to sew over heat n' bond ultra?

Hi LouiseMaeDesigns Burgess - You can sew through the Heat 'n Bond Ultra. We use it for our applique pieces sometimes too. -Michelle

I love these types of baskets. I was wondering if I wanted to make larger ones, what would be the size of strip lengths per size? I guess I am asking how many inches in length do I add to make per size?

You might have to figure that out through trial and error. But I assume that if you double the width of the strips, you should be able to double the length and end up with a basket twice as large. Hope this helps! -Bethany

I saw you iron on the fusible interfacing, but what is the heat and bond for?

A little confused here - you used both interfacing and heat'n bond?

OK, so I looked at the pattern and you fuse the heat'n bond to the fusible interfacing. How? Which sides together? It would be nice to have some instruction on this part of the process. Thanks, Violet.

Yes, we chose to fuse the Heat 'N Bond Ultra Hold to our fusible interfacing to give our fabric more integrity & make it easier to weave. We fused our Heat 'N Bond to the fusible side of the interfacing. Hope this helps :) -Michelle
