Harry could I suggest dumping the mixer and folding the foam in by hand (at least at the very last)? Only you still draw in a lot of excess air every time you break the surface with a fast power mixer. What you do is great and very instructive (it's why I clicked the bell), but you're still plagued by big bubbles weakening your final results. I think if you tried really avoiding bubbles you'd get a great mix, because the results look perfect if you don't include those cavities.

At about 6:55 you say that a little overfill on the second 5-quart bucket of foam will bring the total to 2.1 gallons of foam. 5 quarts is 1.25 gallons, so you're really looking at 2.6 gallons of foam. (Depending on your application, that 25% difference could mean a lot.)

I would like a mix to pour down through the voids of an existing block wall. So I guess I would want a mix that was lean on cement because I'm looking for a concrete that is going to be light to maximize its insulation property. However, if I make it too light, that would seem to reduce the likelihood that it would be liquid enough to pour down to the bottom course of blocks. Any insights? Thanks.

Hi, I love your authentic Eric Reid videos I have a simple question for you maybe not so simple is it possible to do a driveway with this aircrete if you had system setup for it is there something that I don't understand why it would fail with normal lightweight traffic especially if I just did like big sections with dividers and all expansion joints everywhere is just something I don't understand thank you for your time.

Yes you can use aircrete for drive. There are several aircrete mix designs you could make, for a driveway I would use a denser aircrete mix.

Crucial information to understand the next videos: A mixture of one 94-pounds bag (or 42,6 Kilos) of Portland cement and 6 gallons (27 Liter) of water yields a volume of about 1.1 cubic foot. (or 31 Liter or 8 Gallons). Desired mix = 1,57 Kilo cement + 1 Liter of Water or Desired mix = 11,75 pounds cement + 1 gallon of water

So, Im a little confused. You say 2.1 gallons of foam for the batch you made then used two 5 quart buckets plus over filled the second one. Here in Florida there is 4 quarts per gallon. So 10 quarts is like 2.5 plus the overflow. That was at least 3 gallons. Did I miss something

What about a Air pump tubing put into the sides and bottom of the bucket, to force air, while the lid is on, and there could be a hole in the lid, to slide the drill piece into, before attaching to the drill. This way, much more air bubble are being forced into the mixture. Also, the soap, stay away from dawn, it has degreasers. It's better to use a plant based soap like Seventh Generation with out any degreasers in the formula. The Concrete, try using Fiver reinforced Concrete by Quickcrete, to make the concrete less brittle by adding tension from the fibers. Water, try using distilled water, free of contamination or minerals. The drill bit, could also have additional paddles welded onto the stem to force more air into it, while drilling clockwise. InshaALLAH brother, hope this helps.

You will not be able to make a good quality FC this way. Use a Protein based foam concentrate, forget the soapy foam!! Reduce water cement ratio by using a super plasiciser. U can make your protein foam concentrate yourself if you have no supplier for this. Buy a bag of dried blood=an organic fertilizer ( slaughterhouse by-produkt) Make a 2,5% lye solution and heat to 70 degree C. Stirr in the dried blood and agitate constantly. Untill the blood is dissolved. Repeat until the lye is saturated. Let cool down. Filter the brown liquid through a cloth. Optional: ad some ethylen glycol for winterisation and preservative against decay and rotting. Now you made the best foaming agent ever! Harmless to the environment. If you make your FC from 50-50 cement and lime, you will reach high compressive strength and better elasticity modulus. Of course you can ad sand to increase strength even more but than insulation value decreases Regards Bert españa

I resent and thoroughy despise the advertisement preceeding this video advocating the impeachement of our wonderful duly elected president with all my heart. Such stuff is criminal and those responsible need to be dealt with accordingly!

@@brianmi40 I am a conservative. I try to vote responsibly. I must admit I have been terribly fooled though I have never voted for a democratic presidential canidate. Now of course I realize many times I might as well have, as the Republican I voted for was certainly no better. Thank God Donald Trump is not in that catagory.

When I used to read stuff like this it would make me angry like "these people must understand that they are the ones who are supporting the destruction of our country" "they have to know what trump is actually doing I mean for christ sake he literally said publicly that if he ever ran for president he "would run as Republican because the voters are stupid" why would they vote for someone who talks about them that way?" Now it just makes me sad, sad we are being pulled apart when its obvious to me the on both sides most of the actual American people want the same things when you get right down to it, sad that our country is losing respect around the world, sad that our world is falling apart because we can't work together, sad that humans would rather die apart than stand together, sad that if it doesn't change (and it probably won't) all to soon regardless of if we have a Democrat or Republican in power then our division is going to end this country, sad that when that happens one day if mankind survives another 200 years those children will read about the downfall of America right along with Greece and Rome, sad that even then its likely that they will not learn from the mistakes of the past just like we aren't taking these lessons now... just sad :-(
