Come along on today's Alaska Hamm Family VLOG as we make dehydrated jerky from ground moose meat here in our Alaska Kitchen. Mark makes this jerky at least once a month for our family and it is our favorite! About every 6 weeks the boys line up and get their hair cut by mom, it is a lot of work to get through 5 heads of hair! Super Mum! Is there anything you cant do Lauren? Mark is certainly not left behind as a super Dad as well. You guys are teaching your children by example learning life skills is something that cannot be taught from a book or a class room. The jerky looked so good. 👍

You are too kind! We try and teach by example for sure but have plenty of failures along the way. The jerky is amazing and my favorite thing Mark makes regularly. It is the perfect snack. I am always amazed with the next thing he comes up with to serve us moose meat!

I had to watch back to see what you were referring to with super mum. The haircuts are for sure a big job, about every 6 weeks. Don’t really know what I’m doing but no one complains that it looks terrible. Mark asked me to start cutting his hair while we were dating and it’s just been something I do ever since, even though I don’t feel like I’ve gotten any better over the 14 years. 😂
