There’s an 808 keyboard already in garageband. If you set it to “thump” and turn the bass up with the equalizer, you get the thud you normally hear in songs. This video is also a nice way to get a good 808

So I have been just importing my own drum kits into the sampler for more of a unique song, but in order to import the stock drums do you have to duplicate and do a merge to combine the drum sound in order to import and use it in the Sampler? I didn’t see what you actually duplicated

Guys I’ll tell you since for whatever reason you don’t understand. You go to 808 flex, record the bass drum(the grey one not the black one) When it’s recorded. Click on it and you will see merge. Click merge. Then go to a new instrument and go to keyboard go to sampler. Exit and move the bass to the sampler.

Like I was tapping on it but no sound was coming out of it

I don’t have the option to change velocity settings.

I did it once and it worked perfectly. Tried it a second time and it just doesn’t merge with the sampler. What do u think happened?
