I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rossignol FKS’s on straight skis before. Great job on this project, the chairs turned out great!

Hi from thé French alps! I want to do thé same (have a bunch of old skis waiting for a new Life! ) Which Kind of blade do you use to cut the skis metal one or Wood one? Thx

Below I've copied a link for the templates. However, they are not plans. If you're doing this for a senior project I recommend you make your own plans. Or at least use these templates as a starting point and make revisions on your own. You got a great video and I just Googled this and found it on the first one. The only problem I see is that you don't know what your I don't know what you're doing and what you're making while you're making all that cutting all the wood and stuff it'd be nice if you could take in the way all those templates all those templates out flat and say you know this is a 1 by 2 and the next one's a two by two in the next ones of 1 by 4 or 2 x 4 or whatever using lay it all out and and mark them up so you know so I can make it nothing else I could print it off you know your plans off. It looks like you were using something like a design software I use AutoCAD myself and used it for about 20 something years and I can make plans from that and print them out at least eight and a half by 11 and know that I need to make this part to ski 12 in this part 24 in that type of thing but yeah but you got to tell us what you doing alright thanks

Thanks for feedback! Yes, I used Adobe Illustrator to create the pieces that I then cut out. If you'd like the template it is available on my website (but there are no step-by-step instructions). The reason why I don't explain what each part is and what I'm doing is because I don't have much experience in woodworking and I don't want to give anyone bad advise. While I wouldn't classify myself as a woodworker, I would say I am a creative person with a mind that likes to problem solve. So If you also like to problem solve/think creatively then I challenge you to purchase my template and assemble the chair without instructions. Good luck!!

@@vercremade I actually found an old childs size adirondack chair in my yard sale finds. It's all wood but, but It;s got a lot of useful parts I can use as patterns and make some other chairs. I pick up my skis at yard sales all the time. Pennies on the dollars, some people just want you to take them.. I get them home and take the hard ware off, then I'll cut the pieces the length and angles that I need, then power screw them together so they'll hold some weight. I think the more ski's I can use in the construction, the stronger and less prone to weathering they'll be.

Great suggestion on finding new skis! Also, I love finding old things and using the parts to make new parts that I can use in my own projects.
