Today I show you how I turned a video of me on a green screen and treadmill into an entire army defending Middle Earth! It doesn't take an Army to make one (See what I did there)

An army from a different era is the ultimate goal of the vfx people. I thank you from all people in the process of becoming xfx artists, indie companies for helping visualise the accomplishment of that goal.

this is NOT the cinema way at all, it s the noob way. We used to do these tricks 20 years ago only for some non important shots. But the result always look amateurish just like here. In the cinema, it s a whole different set of ( real ) skills

How to you fix edges in roto brush
@CalebNatale9 күн бұрын
Great question, so I'd start with the parameters in roto brush first, the shrink edge, contrast and feather. That takes care of a majority of issues and checking "motion blur" can be super useful in a pinch to help the edging blend. However, when this is not enough, adding an Instance of crate wrap (from production crate) or Red Giants light wrap can help depending on the scenario and finally frame by frame painting or erasing may be the best solution when other options have been exhausting. Keep in mind the level of detail should match the importance and scale in the shot. If you have a specific use for an asset in the distance in one shot, it may not be necessary or a good use of time meticulously cleaning the edge of the keyed asset
