Nice really cute. I gave the same DT hat a makeover but turned it into a black and orange witch hat with the long part black tulle the rim black and orange pumpkin tulle and wrapped a orange band where thet meet glued black and orange hanging down from the top where i alsa put a black eyeball rose and 1 black spider on the orange band.

Ran out of 6" mesh for ruffles..thought I remembered you used 10" on a Dollar Tree form..it looks so cute...I'm going to do it!( It doesn't look too big) Soo glad I can go back and refresh my memory! Lol! Thanks for making these videos available! 😉😜😎🏜️😍

I really thought I was crazy! Before Christmas, I saw you make the smaller candy cane and the Elf hat DIY. I loved it! I wrote down your info, subscribed and saved the videos. When I went back to watch it, I couldn't find you. I didn't think that it was fair, to you, that someone else had the same "KZfaq" channel. Then, tonight, I go to "KZfaq" & find your dark haired video. I found you, again! Well, I should have put my glasses on & looked closer! You changed your hair color! I LOVE your products and your videos... they're great! Laurie.. one quick comment about what to use to cover the back of our crafts.. I use only white as opposed to colored coverings like a place mat... I got some water on the table where I had a black place mat and the dye not only smeared everywhere on the table but also ran on my craft I did. Just a small comment to pass on.. thank you!

If you cannot find the double foil mesh, would I make 15 inch cuts with additional ruffles, or what would you suggest?

You would use the same size cuts and amount of ruffles if you are using regular deco mesh but if it’s very thin then you can always add a few more but I think you will be fine. Thank you for watching, Lori.

Very cute! I thought instead of wrapping the red ribbon &adding ears why not put slip elf hat over frame& attach then add all the rest? What you think MS.lori?

Hi Pat! You can definitely use an Elf hat to slip on the top but I just wanted my whole hat made out of mesh. I think it’s a great idea. The only problem I foresee is finding a hat that fits over meaning that it’s wide enough and long enough to reach the brim of the frame without being so big that it doesn’t fit snuggly.
