Todays creation brings a little something different, but still very easy to create. If you have any left over cake, or cut off cake tops, never throw them away! You can freeze those spare pieces and save them up for projects like these that require cake pop mixtures to be made ;)
I used white chocolate ganache for the dip and drip, which is just 1 part cream to 3 parts white chocolate buttons.
Ganache recipe:
1 part heavy cream to 3 parts white chocolate. I recommend 300 grams white chocolate and 100 grams heavy cream to cover 6 ice cream cake pops. Combine and melt in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds.

Another awesome video. One question though. If you were planning to use pink buttercream, why use the blue buttercream earlier instead of pink?

I think Rosie's said elsewhere that she tries to use up ingredients left over from other cake projects so nothing gets wasted. So quite often she'll use a different colour for the crumb coat, left over from a different cake. Sometimes it's all tinted black for the crumb coat if she's mixed a few different buttercreams together. I really appreciate her commitment to reducing food waste, must be a real issue for content creators.
