Quick yappin session. I’m writing this psychological horror novel (”Välke”, means a flickering light in Finnish) and the original idea for the story was it to be movie so the book is very visual in my head when I’m writing it. The vision is that if the book get published and gets popular, maybe there could be a film adaptation. So, in the book the main character Jonatan falls in and out of psychotic schizophrenia, and towards the end he slowly loses the sense of reality. The biggest turn of events, no-going-back-moment, is when Jonatan goes hiking with his girlfriend’s brothers, and in the movie Jonatan’s developing sickness would be communicated with change of cinematic style. The movie starts with normal, modern looking cinematography, and when they go to the forest, it changes to this Akira Kurosawa inspired look with cheap looking sets and expressive make-ups. And I imagine the movie also to change musically. So in the start it would be this Sigur Rós typa ambient soundscape, but in the end it’d be this old-timey film soundtrack stuff. Those suspenful parts of this composition would be perfect. Thank you for inspiring me and many others.

He was in a band called sELF in the 90s and was super proflific, he ended up moving into cartoons and TV in the same vein as this i could see you doing something similar . He also wrote jingles .. .
