I love your cooking and smile. All thanks to you my cooking skills have improved and my family loves my dishes now. I would just like to add that Banga soup is different from Ofe akụ. They have different spices and different methods. Banga is for the Edo and Delta and Benin eaten with starch while Ofe akụ is for Anambra and Imo States eaten with anything.

I am from awka etiti. Traditionally we boil the meat in the palm oil extract and it makes for a better taste. My opinion though

Nice processing there. Never thought of using a food processor instead of pounding. Also ehuru (calabash nutmeg) is commonly used for this by Easterners. It gives off the strong scent for ófé akwụ.

Banga soup is different from Ofe Akwu. She cooked Ofe Akwu. Ofe Akwu is traditionally for rice while banga soup is for swallow and it is not an anambra traditional food. Usually we anambra people have another sauce we cook with palm extract but we add cocoyam to thicken and then okpei. Then ugu leaf/ pumpkin leaf.

I was expecting to traditional banga soup usually eaten by delta people. That one goes very well with swallow. This one you made is ofe akwu preferably eaten with rice by most persons.
