@erhirepikin2264 жыл бұрын
Dery Catherine okay let’s do it this way...for instance if you have a table spoon of water, to make up a safe percentage of your lye add half a table spoon of caustic soda to the water and that’ll make your lye a 50%solution after combining water and caustic soda... then for your oil, if your use one table spoon of water for your lye solution then you’d use two table spoons of oil to combine with lye that’s your lye solution is always half the quantity of your oils, and your caustic soda should be half the quantity of water... hope this helps

I love the way you do your presentation. I have tried but never had the hydrometer to have the specific gravity. I have 2 questions. 1) Can one start using d soap immediately after production? 2) why is it that I experience something like sweat on d soap.
@batanghamogtv49083 жыл бұрын
Waiting me also for the response
@amasart39312 жыл бұрын
No it's not advisable to use the soap immediate. After production leave the soap to cure for aleast a month before you use them. You can also check the PH level of the soap. To know if it has more lye in it or not. If the soap has more lye in it it won't be advisable to use it on the skin

Love your video, well detailed. But I thought every soap is left to cure for like 3 to 4 weeks. To go through saponification process because of the harsh chemicals. You said it's ready for use right after cutting it. Is that okay?
