You can straighten out your needle with some plier. I do that to my needles Put your plier on the where the needle Bent And squeeze until it's strained out.

Love the firecracker/rocket vibe these have, Becky. Really great project for the upcoming holiday. I have tiny metal star beads that would be great at the end of the dangles. Maybe also dragon scale beads in crystal AB would be a good embellishment for the fringe ends. Happy 4th, everyone!🇺🇲🎇

You could the "zip stitch line" white instead of red, if you don't want all red at the end.
