Thanks for the tips of making a manga. I had recently been working on a one shot series and due to some problems I had a lot of contrast and now rebooting a little bit It does relay in the artwork more but yet I want to tell the story by emotions and somewhat a story of just everyday life in an apocalypse. Yet it is semi realistic due to its a serious story-plot inspired like The Last of us or the Walking Dead. Somewhere along that kind of road of a story.

Readability is quite hard for me, do you have any tips for general readability so many of the details aren't lost?

Can you do a video (assuming you haven't done a video on this already) with examples of how these particular tips are done poorly with examples of how they're done well? This video is very helpful as-is, but seeing what it looks like when done wrong helps with self-critiquing to find mistakes easier and better understand how/where to improve. Obviously these examples will be of your opinion and providing examples doesn't imply that you think the mangaka is a bad artist or writer or anything--an example doesn't represent an artist's skill as a whole, but I am still curious of what your examples of correct vs. incorrect examples would be.

I might make a video about this in the future with some of my own examples! I've learned a lot about composition from practising, so I have a lot of examples of dos and don'ts that I feel like I have noticed in my own manga pages. Thank you for your suggestion! 😊

Can ask you a question since manga usely black and white how do you tell a character has darker skin without adding color

To make skintone look darker in manga, I would recommend adding screentones or using a grey pen/pencil and shading the skin. From there, you can add further shading on the rest of the features to add more detail. I hope this helps! 😊
