Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen!!! Today I’m going to be sharing with you how I make a easy and delicious beef Burris. In case you don’t know what birria is, birria is a spicy stew, traditionally made from goat meat, but occasionally from beef or chicken. The dish is often served at celebratory occasions, such as weddings and baptisms, and holidays, such as Christmas and Easter. We all have our own ways to make it and today I’m sharing the day I do mine. I hope you enjoy it and give this recipe a try! Ingredients:
2 lbs chuck pot roast
2 lbs beef shank
6 chile California
4 chile guajillo
5 chile cascabel
2 chile pasilla
2 chile morita
1 white onion cut in half
4 garlic cloves
2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar for cooking
1 beef bouillon
5 bay leaves
5 whole cloves
10 whole black pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp kosher salt
small piece of cinnamon
1/4 tsp whole cumin
1/4 tsp all spice
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp marjoram
garlic salt
Salt and pepper
5 small Roma tomatoes
Cilantro and onion
Salsa
And tortillas!!!! 🤤
