#oniongravy For the roux I used 2 TBSP flour, 2TBSP butter then added 1.5 cups beef broth. Season to taste. (Add beef bouillon if desired). I also used 1 tsp soy sauce.

I would be tempted to put that sauce on top of some ground beef patties instead and enjoy the beef cut by itself.

Well done! Thank you! I am a huge gravy fan,yet have struggled with making it, so this recipe, and more importantly, your step by step technique, will certainly get tried in my kitchen. The process is as valuable as the ingredients..

Making the onion gravy takes some time...how do you keep the steak warm while you do the onions? thanks.
@TheSimpleWaywithDelila Жыл бұрын
Good question! Try covering it with a plate, of course it'll still loose some heat but that's probably your best option 🤷🏾♀️

I love how you said rinse your meat. I just got done watching a video where they discuss that. Unfortunately nothing good comes from rinsing your meat. However you do spread pathogens in the water droplets you inevitably get everywhere, but the risk is minimal.
