Yes... She gaves eggs also but eggs not hatched .. and 1 month before she died..I have now a male budgie from 7 years 😀And he is tamed also for you..😄😄

People deal with grief different ways not all have to be public. But I know my birds miss him they love hearing singing. I just got one that similar to cookie he's English and parakeet half mix. His name is Spirit Wind he'll be 2 months on this month.

Thanks for sharing ... But the nest hole needs to be lower than this so the hen doesn't jump when going in the nest. and add another easy to clean removable internal wooden base with a shallow dent on it for the eggs to secure them in one place .

I’ve looked everywhere and this is my last resort, i can’t find anything on how to stop a budgie from sitting where they are not allowed to sit? For reference my budgie is free to the room and allowed to fly around and play as he pleases and gets lots of attention, he has many many toys to chew and play with and lots of fresh water, food and fruits/vegetables daily, and always with access to it all, yet when i leave the room, he likes to sit ontop of a mirror with a wooden painted frame which is no issue, except that he likes to chew and eat this paint around the edges which is my concern, I’ve attempted to teach him to not go there and that he has many other places to sit, such as his ginormous bird tree with toys and such but he refuses. Always find him there when i leave and come back, he almost seems to like doing it because he knows he’s not allowed, is there any way i can deter him from that spot or something? I’m really worried this will cause him harm and he doesn’t understand it.
