Never had butternut Souffle. When I was a child, I could not eat Butternut Squash. Other Squash varieties were fine, but there was something about Butternut. After I was gone overseas for a few years and came back, my taste changed and I now love it baked, fried, made into pies like pumpkin (after baked), boiled, and in casseroles.

What I love about butternut casserole is that it stays hot for so long. I let it set up for 30 minutes after taking it out of the oven and it is still hot when we eat it. One of my favorites!

my mom would occasionally bake chicken that was rolled in cornmeal and I thought it was the most wonderful thing....in my adult life I have made it this way as well but also at times I change it up a bit by making a thick barbque sauce and adding it for a few minutes after the chicken is cooked (just long enough to heat and 'set' the sauce to the chicken) seeing your chicken made my mouth water and I longed to have my mother with me for any of her home cooked meals but particularly this moment for her baked chicken....I loved the crunchies left behind in the pan lol

After I saw you use one of those choppers when I first started watching I knew I had to have one. It has been amazing for me as I have arthritis and my hands aren't very good anymore. I have used it for cake or pastry making and for mashing potatoes so it has helped me enormously. Thanks Tipper for sharing your life with us.
