I'm glad someone has brought back this kind of lei. I'm 75 and we used to make these back in the 60's. We also made booze lei by using the small bottles of liquor you can buy at the liquor store. I guess everything old is new again. I don't know if they still sell the lei made out of the paper wrapped crack seed from china. Instead of dollar bills we used either silver dollars or 50 cent pieces. Great video keep up the interesting videos

Thanks for posting this tutorial. You made it very easy to follow. I will be making this for my son's high school graduation. I like things that are different. Instead of the cookies I will be using chocolate turtles one of his favorite candies.

ANGLE BOO aww I wish you had it too!! I'm not familiar with the stores out in the Caribbean, but If you ever com across a box of Hello Panda, I highly recommend trying it out!! You can still make a medallion for your Lei with any kind of treat that comes in a box =D
