I honestly have to say thats pretty damn cool. One of the coolest DIYs that ive ever seen. This needs to be something that kids have to make in school kind of like they have to make the mousetrap cars. Would be an excellent way to teach kids a little bit about electronics and mechanical movements that can be associated with those electronics.

larry ! Well it wouldnt be for like little kids or anything. It would be for highschoolers. This isnt that difficult to make especially with instructions. Parts are also inexpensive, cost next to nothing, can be reused and even computer chips can be reprogrammed to be used for another project. In todays technologically advanced world if a highschooler cannot build this with instructions then weve got a problem.

J KH I remember when RadioShack actually used to sell those kids to make your own crystal radio and stuff they really need to get back into that stuff I'm starting to see toys and project kids now for kids to build robots they get these laser cut out prefabricated pieces and they assemble it but it's really scary that we live in a world that you can't just go buy a kit and teach people stuff like this. I didn't build this and I have not built anything like this but I could follow along with what he was doing perfectly

the motors were just dc motors you can find online, the board he used was a buck converter im pretty sure, and i think everything else was pretty easy to tell what it was.
