Showing the interim time when the paint is spreading but hasn't absorbed into the resin yet, when it still looks terrible, was a great idea. That's when a lot of crafters would start freaking out. reassuring them That's what it looks like before the resin hardens was a great idea, man.

I know this video is old but i did want to say there are stickers for card making that look like dew drops that would also work for this and you could do different sizes and what not which would look cool

I feel like this could work really well for lava as well if you swap out the green paint for red and yellow. Might try it this weekend.

I, personally, would put some little clear micro beads into the two layers to make bubbles instead of those sticky ones

Mate with using the clay, do you not find damping the MDF makes it warp? My centre piece has curled up on the edges, gonna have to sand it flat and pray I dont go all the way through the MDF.

I'm working on a display platform for a Halloween Village, and it has a skull overlooking the swamp. I want to do a "waterfall" effect from the skull's mouth, down to the swamp... but it has to match the color. How would you go about this? Thanks for taking the time to do these awesome videos!!!

What is the easiest material use for terrain building as a beginner? I have plenty of double ply, single ply cardboard and some A3 5mm foamboard. Would using 50/50 PVA+Water mix during constuction add some strength to it. I would like to try something simple like a small ruined wall section to start off with.

I have used this tutorial which I think is fantastic but mine isn't so. I've used coloured ink which isn't seeping into the resin at all. Has taken forever to dry. Can you give me any tips?

Thanks for the video! But I'm wondering of you could help me? Im trying almost the same as this, but for 32mm and 40mm bases. And im really struggling to get the same or even similar effects. The project is a green daemon bile goo base, with some demon /nurgle tentacles poking out (just a simple milliput sausage job for tentacles) for my grey knights. Ive gone an actual darkish grey and not silver for my knights, and wanted something nice and contrasty. And not the typical lava base people always do for grey knights. But the main issues I'm getting is massive shrinkage from vellejo still water effects, (but that can be worked around with more layers) and I can't get the yellows and lighter greens to disperse and blend nicely like you can on a deeper bigger pool for Terrain. Just wondering if you had any recommendations? Or possible a different method is needed for the smaller shallower bases? Thank you

that looks grate. is there no way you can add air to the resin before it sets? maybe by using a straws to blow air into the mix...
