How to make Cheap DIY Cat Toys

Since we're all bored and suck at home these days, why not spend some quality time with your cats making DIY cat toys?! Today, we're going to be making DIY cat toys out of things you'll likely have laying around your house including toilet paper rolls, scrap fabric or felt, and straws! Oh yeah, don't forget the catnip and the cat treats ;)

Has nobody else ever made the **simplest** cat toy ever? Get a piece of wax paper or butcher paper, and kind of accordion fold it so it's kind of zig-zaggy, then tie a piece of string or twine around the middle and fan out the edges. Instant "bird toy" that you can flutter / flop around for them to chase / hunt / kill. If / when they eventually shred/kill it, just make a new one. Dirt cheap and simple to make. No hot glue or other nonsense required. Used to make these all the time when I was a kid. Heck, even I could do it, as a kid, no real supervision required (as with hot glue, etc.)... Sure, you end up with a bit of paper mess as it get s shredded, but it's pretty easy to clean up. ;) I suppose one could use a more durable material like felt or something, but paper works just fine and is ubiquitous, what with all the various junk advertising one gets in the mail. All kinds of moderate/stiff papers to utilize. :)

Sometimes I just use the lace from my sneakers/yarn and they really like! I really liked the mouse one, and I'm curious to see if my cats react to catnip or not! 🐱Thx for the tips 😻😽

I don't have a kitten but, today me and my friends saw a kitten her mom is gone so we give milk to the kitten and I want to make a toy for his soo I see these video 😊😍😿😺🐈

Sayantika Biswas Make sure you don’t give the kitten milk from cows! Cats are actually lactose intolerant and can become ill from cows milk. Also make sure to wait at least three hours for the mama to come back to make sure you don’t take it away from it’s mother! Foster parents are great but there is no replacement for a true cat mama! If there is no mother, you’ll want to get a special formula for your kitten, KMR, (you can find formula for your kitten at almost all local pet stores, follow the labels directions!) and if you are able to foster the kitten please do! It you give it to the shelter the shelter will probably euthanize it since they are unable to provide the love and care needed. If you are going to foster or adopt the kitten, please watch a channel that goes by the username of Kitten Lady, she had great videos on how to wean, litter box train, bottle feed, tell the gender of the kitten, and more! Sorry if it seems like I’m being a know it all, I just wanted to help you and the kitten! Please let me know or watch Kitten Lady’s videos if you have questions :) sending support!
