I really enjoy these videos. I'm sorry that Grandpa passed but his gift will live on here on youtube. I like seeing how a culture completely different from mine cooks food outdoors over a fire, with no running water, electricity, or other gadgets to serve many people. It seems to me the main ingredient in each one is love, always a good place to start with any recipe.

I give mad props to Grandpa and everyone at Grandpa Kitchen for making corn dogs. They may seem like they'd be easy to make but they're actually not, especially in a pot like that and the amount they made. They're messy and you've got to make sure that everything is cooked all the way through without burning the batter. But these guys did an amazing job and they looked so good too. It's nice that the kids are coming out there as well so that way they get to see Grandpa more and know where these delicious meals are coming from.
