A delicious Filipino delicacy that is made with glutinous rice flour,root crops, banana fruit, coconut milk and tapioca pearls that are mixed together to create an incredible texture and unique eating experience. It is most loved by many because they say "It brings out the good in the past!"
INGREDIENTS OF BILO- BILO RECIPE
1 Klo glutinous rice flour and additional 2 cups for coating
3 cups of brown sugar (adjust according to taste)
4 pcs sweet potato
5 to 6 pcs banana (saba)
1 to 2 cups pre cooked tapioca pearl
3 cups coconut milk (2 heads coconut)
1/2 tsp salt to taste
pandan leaves or a few pcs of langka for flavoring (optional)
1 liter of water or 2nd coconut extract if any (add more water or milk if needed)
