How to Make Cricut Infusible Ink Earrings | Easy Infusible Ink DIY
In this video, I'll show you how to make earrings with Cricut Infusible Ink! These simple heart earrings are a great beginner Cricut Infusible Ink project idea. If you've been wanting to try Infusible Ink, or if you've used it on shirts or other projects and want to try something new, this project is for you.
You can make these earrings using Cricut Infusible Ink and a Cricut Maker, a Cricut Explore Air 2, or a the Cricut Joy.

Hi, Amy....LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your videos! Do you put the infusible ink on the back first, if you color the backs? Is there a problem then when you do the front, does ink from the front get on the back?

Hi, Jan! I don't think it matters which side you do first. It's best to keep the plastic coating on whichever side you haven't done yet to keep it protected from the ink you put on the first side. The biggest tip I have would be to check your work surface before turning over the earring to do the second side. If your work surface (or parchment paper like in my video) has ink on it from when you did the first side, it can transfer to the "finished" first side when you do the second side if you're not careful. So just be sure to have a fresh, clean work surface when you are making these double sided and you should be good to go!

Hi, Edna! You can put more infusible ink on the back so they have a colored back like the front. Or you can just leave them white. :)

FYI, from what I found, the Mini three line setting is 374 degrees.

Hi, Cassandra! Yes, exactly! I do sublimation, too, and it's the same concept. If you print your own design with sub ink on sub paper, you can press them on these same sublimation blanks. :)

How can i put a hook inside of a clay earring with no hole on it? Can you please explain?

Hi, you would need to drill a hole if the clay is already baked. Before baking, you could poke a hole with a sharp object.

@@AmyRomeu OMG! Thank you so much for answerin, it is already baked, how can i make a drill hole? I saw someone was usin a lighter to heat up the hook then stick it inside of the earring. Can i do it that way too or would you suggest somethin else dear?

If it’s already baked, I would use a small drill bit and drill the hole. I’ve never tried heating something and pressing it into the earring, but I would worry it would crack. Let me know what you try and how it works out!
