These are a few hacks on how I make my gel nail strips last a while.
Products used:
dashing diva gel nail strips
Amazon uv light protective gloves
Nail boo gel top coat
Rubber cuticle pusher

Sure thing! They’re utilized for an “added” layer of protection in case the curing light can damage your skin.

I almost always do my nails before bed so that I can limit them coming into contact with any water, lotions or oils for a few hours. This helps tremendously. Also, if I am trying to make them last, I wear gloves if my hands will be exposed to water/cleaning items.

Mine came off in a day. Ill try adding top coat before i give up. The starter kit did not mention top coat . Thanks!

@@katherynlopes6416 hey! They don’t have or market a gel top coat but I used another brand’s gel top coat to help with longevity & seal the corners.

Thank you! I honestly can’t remember how long this set lasted. I know at least 7 days. Even if I have to replace a couple, most of the time I can get them to last about 10ish days though.

Hey! I add oil to my cuticles & nail bed & gently lift the corners & they pop right off like press-ons.

I try to do my nails right before bed to help them not get exposed to water or anything for a few hours. I feel this helps the cure actually set for a while.

That is so unfortunate! Another thing that I’ve experienced is the potential of them “expiring” so if they’ve been manufactured a while ago but we’re just now receiving that batch, then the adhesion isn’t that great.
