I've not heard of this craft before, it's fascinating. I was wondering though why the bear picture had the blue in a small area compared to the leaves?

Great question! Only what the sun ☀touches turns blue 💙because the leaves only block the small leaf shape, the rest of the paper turns blue. For the bear, most of the image was blacked out with ink, but the rest was clear with minor details, allowing the sun to go through and change that portion blue, but not the rest.

I haven't yet looked, but do you have a tutorial on how to do this on fabric? That's what I want to use this for, creating my own fabric prints. I've seen some gorgeous fabric printed this way. 🙂

This looks like so much fun! Question: After brushing your watercolor paper with the solution, can you heat set the paper or does it need to dry naturally?? Thanks!

Hello Katie! It's better to let your paper dry naturally because using heating guns or hairdryers may cause the paper to dry unevenly and warp. Happy crafty!

Do you have to have it under glass when you take it outside or can it just be the paper? I was wondering if I did it with the grandkids getting a frame for each one would be hard.

Hi Becky! We do suggest glass on top to keep your pieces flat and from being moved. If your pieces move they could cause a blurry look and if your pieces aren't flat enough a shadow could also form.

If I wanted to use this product for a elementary school class, could I prep the paper beforehand?

Absoluetly! It's better to prep close to the day you're planning to use it so your treated material is less likely to be exposed to light. It's also very important to store it somewhere very dark.
