Hi friends. Today I will show you how to make an automatic knife from the last video from ordinary rulers! Also for those who have not watched the previous video, I will briefly show how the mechanism works. Follow the link to download a drawing of this knife and make it at home! Wear personal protective equipment when working with the tool.

When moving the slider forward, the back stop engages on the back of the blade, the slider goes forward, the spring stretches, the slider reaches the back stop, the stop opens, the blade shoots forward, the spring returns to its original position. When the knife is closed, the slider moves back, the spring stretches again, clinging to the locking axle, since the blade is still locked by the front stop, when the slider opens the front stop, the spring contracts and returns the blade inside the knife.

He showed that his template works in the video, if you’re the one failing to make it several times then you just have a skill issue
