You are the most entertaining and creative of the many paper crafters I've seen. I love that you show us how to use real bits and bobs that one might find around the house instead of always using store bought stuff. When I started becoming interested in junk journal making, I thought it was about recycling/upcycling old books, papers, envelopes, cards and such, not a way to spend money on scrapbooking supplies. The creativity's the thing, not just gluing stuff on a page.

There are a couple of You Tubers that cook and the sound is of water pouring, pans being put on the stove, knife thru veggies and I love them!! They don't talk just show you what they are doing with the sound. Very comforting and relaxing.

I watch you make the first example, and then craft along with you while I listen to you. Ok, so about your stuck glue bottle. Have you tried soaking it in warm/hot water? It might soften the glue enough to move it. Worth a shot.

Ironically, I just watched a video on KZfaq about using the sugar belle bottles. The lady said she uses lip gloss around the threads and also when the fabric-tac thickens in the bottom of the bottle she adds a little nail polish remover. If I find the video I'll post it on the FB page. I love this idea of using up the book pages!

Pam, someone was mentioning the bottom of their sugar bottle was becoming gloppy. This crafter heard somewhere else to use a little nail polish remover to make it a tad more liquidity. Maybe that can help? BTW, you are hilarious! You made my day once again! ❤️🙏🏽🤗

Pam, I have a tip for you if you want to use your new mat. Walmart has a thick clear plastic on a large roll. It is very wide. Buy by the yard. Years ago most people used it over their fancy table cloth. It works. Just a thought....

Pam, I have had this issue before and I just remove the small top with the tip on it and fill from there. I wonder if you ever do get the top off, if you use the plumbers tape that goes around the threads of pipes would work. It’s very thin and in theory, it shouldn’t leak.

Try the top lid on your glue bottle. It's smaller but if it comes off, you might fill from there. I love seeing the "puppy cameos! My husband and I had a Peek-a-Poo for many years. She was a puppy from a miniature poodle my brother gave me for High School Graduation (he was a veterinarian) and a friend's Pekinese. My Dad claimed the Poodle when I left for college so I gave my boyfriend (husband) one of the puppies (He lived in an apartment, I lived in the dorm) and she was ours for about 15 +years. Her name was Peaches. I think of her every time I see Sonny. Thanks for making him part of your videos. BTW, he was playing opposum when you showed him in this one!

Fun! My personal challenge is make journal from trash. No purchased paper allowed. Can/bottle labels, cereal boxes, paper bags, wrappers, anything you normally toss. I gathered trash for days,weeks. Now in process of assembling journal. It is not the easy (for me anyway) but I am having fun.

Boiling water from a kettle should loosen the glue on your bottles xx great vid as always xx

Suggestion for ungluing your bottle, sitting it in warm water. It should melt the glue enough to release the lid. Maybe get some inside as well, so have a bowl of warm water and dunk it in for a few mins. I tried this a few years ago and it worked, but don't know about your particular glue or bottle. But worth a go I think 😊👍🏻 love your videos more each day 😊 x

Try taking the metal tip off the bottle and microwave the bottle for 10 seconds at a time until you can open it. It should soften up the glue in the cap. I haven't tried it myself but it's worth a try! I love these envelopes. I'm going to give them a try! Have a happy day!

OMG. It could only happen to you, using a tape runner that removes the print and takes it up inside, then the glue oozing out of the wrong place, because you put a bit vaseline on it, I was practically on the floor with laughing. I've had the giggles ever since. Thank you so much, you always cheer me up xxx

For your glue... Use Teflon tape. Plumbers use it when they put together pipe fittings so they won't leak, but the tape also allows you to unscrew it easier. It is very thin and usually white.

This is very pretty, great ideas. I had to laugh at your tape effort. I finally gave my big super tape applicator because I definitely ws not smarter than the silly thing. You succeeded nicely, however:). Ah yes, the stuck lid...I have put my acrylics upside down for awhile in water, it took a long time but eventually loosens, that works, and also I have put a small square of plastic wrap, or a plastic bag over the top before I put on the lid , and that works too.

Re your Sugar Belle - I think using a wrench might help to twist it off. And in future, yes, try the cling wrap, or maybe plumber's tape! I haven't yet had this problem but I have taken the whole lid off several times when I've washed the tip out....so maybe it's a matter of unscrewing it from time to time so it doesn't get too stuck.

I use an old lip balm around the threads of my bottles to keep the glue from sticking the lid on. I would try a small amount of acetone just in the groove around the lid since you can push the bottle in and make a small opening. I have thinned my fabri-tac with acetone while in those bottles.

I like the book pages on the envelope, I have done it with music paper but silly me I never thought to use book pages… lol! Great idea!

Hello Pam, you really make me laugh. I have had the same problem with the tops not unscrewing on some glue bottles and I ran them under very hot water and was able to get them off. Maybe it will work for you.

Good Morning Pam & Friends I've been having Fits with fabri tac & sugar belle bottles! Ugh! I spend more time with both just Trying to Extract glue than I do Creating! Fabri tac is low viscosity glue, tips on bottles are very small to the point it doesn't flow well unless Everything is just right~tip is ultra clear & bottle is more than 1/2 full so it actually comes out~otherwise air bubbles take over and impede flow. I've tried Inverting as you do Pam~glue just flows endlessly wasting a lot. I lay bottle on table on its side, keeps it ready but wastes less. The very same thing happened to me with the bottle! I went to refill and I Cannot get the top off. I'll try vise grips to grab the threads on bottle. Love the glue, I personally Don't feel these bottles are a good fit for fabri tac~better for wet white glue. I'm in process of trying different container options for fabri tac, will write back & let you know if & what works~there Has to be a better way and I'm trying like heck to find it! Pam, Rick suggested Mineral Oil on the bottle threads, I tried, it works! He said baby oil would also work. Hope this helps!

Lol 😂. The fabri tac bottle trick I had same thing happened yesterday. I ran the bottle under hot water where you turn to open for about 60 secs and it turned without a problem. Then I cleaned the inside out as well, filled my bottle and wala problem solved... Ps thanks for your videos they bring my joy always❤️

teflon tape for plumbing was suggested (on your group) as a way to not have to buy additional sugarbelles and prevent sticking

Pam I had to use a large pair of p!jets to get the lid off of my bottle using the petroleum jelly works but u have to put a very thin layer on the inside of the lid that way it doesn't come oozing back out and I try loosening the lid more often now at least once a week
