had no idea you could just press T to change the animation style! i would always go into preferences and change it there. thank heavens (and you, and the blender devs) that there's a quicker way.

Is there a way to limit the emission to be seen only in the dark areas without using masks, but rather by interacting with the self-shadow? Awesome tutorials, by the way! Thank you for your precious effort to create them.

This is really interesting... hmm.. is there any way we can use this shader network for a nebula type effect?

Umm I'm new to Blender and I just wonder where should the color ramp for the background go?? like what should it connect too cuz I've tried everything and btw this was an amazing tutorial
@fatal5102 жыл бұрын
Awesome. Now I'll get to see how it's really done. I tried to recreate this one after seeing it on your twitter last night and it was like 50% of the way there. Mine didn't look as "crisp". I got to the half way point in the video on my own, and was missing everything after the "it could be better part" lol... Also did you delete a video recently? Could have swore there was one after the seamless texture one.
@CartesianCaramel2 жыл бұрын
I did delete one. It was a circuit board made using a vorronoi texture, but it was not great.

How do you learn about the min/log stuff affecting the falloff. Is it what I suspect of just spending many hours just throwing random nodes on things and finding out what works? Did you have a bankground on understanding how a a min/log function worked to have a hint that it would do what you suspected?

Let's be honest, what asteroid, this beautiful shader is much more interesting.

cool! did u use eevee or cycles ?
@snehasomani8022 Жыл бұрын
What if i want to render this in cycles? What are the changes then in cycles?
@Mia1998-lh3py6 ай бұрын

Great tutorial, but I have a question about the multi-colored gradient. I just mix colors into one. Please tell me how to fix this)
@kjartanb17152 жыл бұрын
Did you connect the second noise texture to the vector on the Mapping node?
@dimavikarchyk61072 жыл бұрын
@@kjartanb1715 yes
@kjartanb17152 жыл бұрын
Okay. Then I don't know. I had the same issue as you describe. But found out it was because I had connected the Fac from Noise #1 to the vector on Noise #2. When I connect the vector from the Mapping node to the vector on Noise #2 it works with mixed colors for me.
