Welcome back! Today in the being a better rider challenge I am going to show you how easy it is to make your own ground poles.
Ground poles are a fantastic tool to add a new element to your schooling and riding. But you don't have to spend a lot of money for them, you can make them yourself for around $7.00 per pole and about 3 hours of your time.
I will usually use the cherry tone landscaping timbers from Home Depot to make these. You could just get the timbers and use them, but if you want them to last a long time, it is best to sand, caulk, and paint them.
I made these poles one night after I got home from work and then they were ready to be used the next day.
